More About the Role
As a Hygiene Operative you will be expected to provide a high-quality cleaning service across all areas of High Risk. Your shift
will run side by side with the production shift, meaning your shift will start whilst production is ongoing. You will be required
to perform various scheduled cleaning duties as part of a team,
Your duties may change to meet the needs of the department.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
* To perform cleaning duties according to the daily schedules.
* To follow all provided training, in relation to cleaning instructions, at all times
* To ensure any health and safety hazards encountered are dealt with appropriately by reporting to the health and safety officer.
* Ensure hygiene standards are maintained and cleaning is carried out as per cleaning specifications
* Safely operating heavy machinery including the floor cleaner -after training
* Safely operating foaming machines – after training
* Assisting with the end of shift cleaning of all equipment (fixed machinery, tables, floor area, walls, etc)
* Disposing of rubbish and recycling during the shift and after the shift.
* Always wearing the correct PPE for the individual’s safety.
* To ensure that safe working practices are always adhered to
* Undertake all reasonable duties and actions to assist in business operations
* Always ensure chemicals are used in the correct manner and safety stored
* Setting rooms up ready for the night shift to limit any time lost on set up.
* Assist in tray wash when required (washing of trays and jet washing of equipment).
