Summary

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster

Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver "better trained sailors to the front line faster".

You will be delivering Warfare training on Low Frequency Analysis Recording (LOFAR) to the Royal Navy. You will work within a wider team as well as using own initiative.

This is a term time contract working 45 weeks of the year.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering Warfare training on Low Frequency Analysis Recording (LOFAR) and SONAR 2087, 2050,
• Practical and classroom training of classes of 8-10
• Supporting line management and other delivery staff in training delivery
• Supporting piloting and implementing modernised training courses within the establishment
• Updating and maintaining training material

What we're looking for:

• Understanding of LOFAR
• Underwater warfare experience within the Royal Navy
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Good IT skills using Microsoft Office
• Experience within the Defence Learning Environment, would be beneficial
• Level 3 Training or Coaching qualification, would be an advantage
• Ability to work within a team environment, as well as using own initiative
• Must be able to be cleared to UK SC level

Project Selborne is a £1 billion, 12-year contract which commenced operations on 1 April 2021. It is a strategic partnership between Team Fisher (a consortium of partners, led by Capita) and the Royal Navy, to transform 80% of shore-based training for sailors, submariners and marines.
