Tutor in Health & Social Care
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our teaching team at Northern College. The role will involve teaching adults on all aspects of health and social care including Adult Social Care, Mental Health and Autism Awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Organise, plan, deliver and assess high quality teaching, learning and assessment on a variety of courses in line with the Education Inspection Framework and University requirements
Design and development of teaching and learning materials including those required for blended and online delivery.
Ensuring the successful completion, achievement and progression of all students in the curriculum area.
Ensuring the College quality assurance procedures and requirements of accrediting bodies and RARPA are adhered to and accurate courses and awarding body registrations are completed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven recent experience in teaching delivery in relevant subject area/levels
A degree or Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area, along with a level 5 teaching qualification.
English and Maths at level 2 or above
Assessor/IV Award or willing to achieve within specified period
