Summary
MTS Staffing are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer for our client, a successful and growing Engineering business based in Worcestershire. The role will be field based with a requirement to be at the premises in Worcestershire at times and until all training is completed.
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our clients team. You will be provided with a company vehicle and tasked with visiting customer sites throughout the UK conducting electrical servicing, repairs and general maintenance works within a variety of different sectors.
Working Hours
08:00-1700 Monday-Thursday
08:00-14:30 Friday
There will be an occasional need for overnight stays (Potentially once a month maximum).
Responsibilities:
- Commissioning, servicing and repairing and various uninterruptiblepowersupply systems
- Utilise electrical knowledge to collaborate on projects requiring interdisciplinary skills
- Conducting single phase and 3 phase wiring within an industrial environment
- Be able to both read and interpret basic electrical schematics
- Hands on mechanical work such as drilling and wiring
Experience:
- Qualification within Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2 Years experience within a similar role (Essential)
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices
- Experience in system design and integration
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role.
A good positive work ethic, a positive attitude and good time keeping skills.
Have the ability to adapt to changing environments and products.
Be able to take initiative, have a high degree of attention and be responsible for your own work from start to completion.
Be physically fit and capable of using steps and other access equipment.
Be self-motivated when working alone.
A great communicator in fluent English written and spoken
A full UK driving licence.
