Summary

Your new company
A highly renowned independent Accountancy firm in Manchester City Centre is looking to appoint a strong Audit senior to their growing Audit business. This is an excellent Audit Senior job for someone who has ambition, is keen to lead from the front and have a progression pathway ahead.
This firm is a long-standing accountancy practice with an excellent reputation within their market, prioritising client service and the well-being of their employees.

Your new role
This Audit Senior job will require you to lead audit engagements from start to finish. You will be responsible for leading team meetings, supporting junior members of the team throughout the audit, but ensuring the planning and completion of the Audit is completed to deadline.
You will report to Management, keeping both management and your clients updated throughout the audit process.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be fully ACA or ACCA qualified, or in the final stages of your exams. If you are a finalist, it is imperative you are still leading on audit engagements, as the experience to lead audits from planning through to completion is essential.
You must be a great people person, and have excellent communication skills to work closely with your peers, clients and the management team.
You will be ambitious, and the ability to progress your career internally will be available from day 1.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive benefits list, which includes (but not limited to):

  • You will receive 23 days plus bank holidays.
  • Flexible hours are available on a 35-hour working week.
  • Hybrid working is available (once probation and imbedding period is completed, to be discussed with your manager).
  • Ongoing development and training programmes.
  • Parking is available on site.
