The Commercial Analyst position actively supports the evaluation and creation of new products and services for VWFS (UK) Limited as well as managing the performance of the existing product portfolio. The Commercial Analyst is instrumental in ensuring our products and services meet an identified customer need whilst delivering budgeted commercial performance.

**please note, this position is know internally as a Commercial Development Manager
Key role responsibilities:
- Work with Product Owners and Product Managers in the development and delivery of industry leading products and services that meet genuine customer needs by performing a range of market, commercial and customer analysis - both in depth and ad hoc
- Support the performance management and detailed review of the current products within the portfolio to ensure that they remain fit for purpose for customers, regulators and commercially
- Proactively highlight opportunities to drive innovation into the current product portfolio, building on insight gained through customer research, monitoring industry trends and data analysis
- Work collaboratively across all areas of the business to develop comprehensive business cases to support decision making and prioritisation of activity
- Provide business intelligence to assist the prioritisation of development activity and quantify the size of any potential product opportunity

- Confident building business cases aligned to a clear strategy
- Enjoy bringing data to life to tell a story
- Thrive presenting new ideas to a wide audience of stakeholders in a range of forums
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - willing to be given a clear question/problem and go off and find out how to answer it yourself
- Tenacious and detail orientated - overcoming challenges and ensuring you know your topics better than anyone else
- Comfortable building relationships with people - you will excel in this role if you can interact with colleagues across the business on a daily basis
- Effective communication skills at all levels and across all mediums
