Crynodeb
Responsibilities -Learn to perform general medical ultrasound scans and write diagnostic reports to a safe and high standard, in line with department protocols and trust policies, under the supervision of an experienced ultrasound practitioner. - Complete a post graduate certificate (PgC) in General Medical Ultrasound. - Rotate through the main adult and paediatric ultrasound departments at SGH and RSH sites for clinical training lists and complete associated competencies. What experience/skills are needed: - Able to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound. -Relevant degree at 2:2 or equivalent (e.g. BSc in Radiography) -Professional Registration e.g. HCPC or NMC Registration -Observational experience within the sonography department and use of the scan trainer study is advised.
