Summary

1 post available on a part time contract.
38-40 hours a month
£16 rising to £17.49 per hour depending on experience.

Weekdays Mon-Fri 3 x evenings a week 8-10pm
Weekends 2x Saturday evenings a month 8-10pm
1 x Friday evening 6-10pm a month
Weekends 2x Sundays a month 9am-12 midday
1x Friday a month 1x sleepover 10pm -8am @ £98.10
Overtime is always available.

Driving is essential

Good sense of humour and outgoing personality.

Flexibility is required to cover annual leave and sickness and also when there is a change to the young mans health needs.

Caring for a young adult with complex health needs.

Experience in the following preferable but not essential.
Epilepsy,
gastro feeding,
medication administration,
oral suction,
NIV BiPAP ventilation.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full in house training will be given for the ideal candidate.

Annual training from health professionals specific to the young adults medical needs is provided to all care staff. Online E-Learning courses are available paid for by employer.

Enhanced DBS is required for the post which will be paid for by the employer.

You will be working in a small friendly outgoing team of care/support workers within the family home. You will assist in daily personal care needs for the young adult and administer medication. You maybe required to assist on medical appointments and assist in daily activities and outings.

You will also be required to assist while the young adult goes on holidays- up to date passport will be required.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work with an outgoing young adult with a wicked sense of humour who loves to live life to the full despite their disabilities.

Covid-19 guidelines to be followed PPE is required to be worn while working on shift and regular LFT to be taken all PPE provided by the employer.
