Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for helping pupils succeed?
Are you seeking an exciting and varied opportunity in Cardiff?
We are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants/TAs to join our team at a large school in Cardiff. This is a full-time position, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will have experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour and additional learning needs. Your role will involve providing 1-2-1 support and small group work to help these pupils achieve their GCSEs.
Working closely with teachers, you will help maintain an innovative, dynamic, and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting and interacting with students to help them reach their full potential. Strong behaviour management and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as a commitment to uphold the school's policies and ethos.
To be considered for this position, you must hold a Level 3 NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent. You should also have relevant experience and be confident in teaching English and Maths up to GCSE level.
