MEP Project Manager (Electrical Bias)
A well-established Electrical and Mechanical contractor, with offices in Gloucestershire and West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This position, based in Gloucestershire, offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with an electrical bias to contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse range of projects across sectors such as commercial, banking, defence, hospitality, and logistics.
Role Overview:
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet defined timescales, quality standards, and commercial objectives. Working closely with the preconstruction team and leveraging a growing supply chain, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the design and labour resource strategy at early stages, driving effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engaging and managing subcontractors and engineers
• Assisting in design development and offering input into design and labour resource
• Overseeing project budgets in collaboration with the Commercial Manager
• Developing and maintaining project programmes and progress reports
• Managing risk and conducting contractor site meetings
• Reporting on project status and ensuring successful completion
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management experience, particularly in M&E projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully. A proactive and committed professional, they will demonstrate excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and deadlines.
Key Skills:
• Experience in the design and installation of commercial, retail, or industrial electrical projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft platforms
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a solution-focused mindset
