Summary
Job Description
Based in the Chief Executive’s Department, Corporate Procurement Unit and reporting to the Head of Corporate Procurement you will be responsible for leading, managing and prioritising the workload of the Strategic Procurement Team. You will work closely with officers responsible for the Category Management and procurement of waste, utilities, fleet and Financial and professional consultancy related services and you will have responsibility for the delivery of an end to end strategic procurement process, ensuring the methodology and sourcing strategy used takes cognisance of all relevant policy and regulatory compliance, and social-economic and environmental considerations. It is expected that applicants will have experience in delivering strategic end to end procurement advice to internal and external stakeholders, colleagues, and represent the Corporate Procurement Unit across internal and external service areas. Hybrid working is available in this role.
