Summary
OUTDOOR GROUNDS PERSON. GARDENING, WASTE MANAGEMENT, AND UPKEEP OF LOCAL AREA.
The local area of Hilton requires a reliable and hard-working individual to assist in maintaining the beautiful local area.
Your duties will include (but not be limited to):
• Groundsman duties as required
• Emptying dog waste bins
• Strimming and mowing of the footpaths around the village and parish council owned land
• Hedge cutting duties
• Litter picking
• Maintaining streets and paths (removing glass etc)
• General maintenance of seats, benches, notice boards, and bins etc.
• Remove graffiti
• Support with recycling drives
Any applicants MUST have a full clean driving licence, as driving the parish councils van is essential to the role.
You must have experience of working outdoors and doing some sort of maintenance work.

• Kind and understanding to residents.
Immediate starts with regular and ongoing work
In this role, you will be working Monday to Friday, start and finish times will vary, based upon requirements for the day. Your usual day will be 07:00 to 15:30.
In return for your hard work, you will be paid an hourly rate of £11.62. Overtime is payable after 42 hours worked in a week, and this will be paid at £17.43.
