Peterborough College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, and implementing exam access arrangements for students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with teaching, support, and exams staff to ensure students receive appropriate exam support.
Maintaining strong relationships with feeder schools to collect essential documentation.
Staying up-to-date with specialist resources, software, legislation, and best practices.
Attending JCQ updates and disseminating information to the team.
Ensuring adherence to JCQ regulations and maintaining accurate student records.
Coordinating exam support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Developing and maintaining relationships with external agencies and schools.
Promoting the college's provision to current and potential learners.
Collaborating with the college wellbeing team on exam arrangements for students with mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A Level 3 qualification in a related field (desirable)
Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (essential)
Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
A commitment to providing high-quality student support
