An exciting new opportunity has arisen with CLD Youth Services, MCMC Team. We are recruiting 1 Keyworker based at West Lothian College

We are keen to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. You will provide Key Work support to young people that are Exceptional Entrants at West Lothian College or participating in post school employability programmes. You will work with them to remove barriers to progress them on to the next stage of the employability pipeline. The post is funded via the Scottish government No One Left Behind programme.

Applicants should have experience of working with young people in an employability context and an understanding of issues relating to young people’s mental health, additional support needs and wellbeing, and a strong commitment to non-discriminatory practice. The Exceptional Entrants Keyworker will be expected to attend different locations and it is essential that they have the ability to travel across the authority.

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
