Summary
Step Teachers are looking for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant specializing in Early Years to start in September 2024. This is a long-term(Full Time) supply position that could lead to a permanent role. The opening is at a Nursery school in Barnet, recognized for creating a caring and inviting atmosphere that feels like a "home away from home" for everyone.
Nursery Teaching Assistant - Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children within Early Years following the EYFS framework.
- As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you should be able to plan and execute enriching activities to enhance student learning and development.
- Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
- As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you should be able to identify and address the additional support needs of students.
Nursery Teaching Assistant -Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification is essential.
- Nursery Teaching Assistant must have previous experience in an Early Years setting within a mainstream school.
- A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with SEN experience.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
