Summary


The Clinical Support Health Group has a vacancy for an enthusiastic nurse to join a progressive nursing team in an acute and demanding Queens Centre Acute Assessment Unit.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside an existing team to support patients with acute cancer or treatment related complications. We are an evolving unit and the post will be intended to cover 7 days a week (although currently only Mon-Fri)

The post holder will be a registered nurse, who will work as part of a multi disciplinary team within the Queens Centre Acute Assessment Unit to provide assessment and delivery of patient care and interventions.

Acting within their professional boundaries, the post holder will report to a Band 6 Senior Nurse Co-ordinator and responsibilities will include clinical assessment, implementation of treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate patient safety, appropriate escalation and provide expert care for patients within the Queen’s Centre.

The post holder will have the flexibility to work across all clinical areas within Queen s Centre
