Summary
Come and be a part of our exciting Trading Team in the Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham shops, working across both locations.
Although initially for 6 months maternity cover, there may be opportunities for the right candidate to become a permanent employee in one of our other shops.
You will support the manager in delivering sales, developing the team, and delivering an excellent standard of customer service, promoting the Havens Hospices brand as part of the local community retail experience.

Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.

• To effectively manage the day to day running of the shop staff and volunteers, providing effective leadership, taking full responsibility for managing the shop in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• To manage stock, maximise profit and minimise costs, and achieve sales targets, initiating marketing campaigns and sales promotions.
• To maintain an awareness of developments in local shops, especially in the Charity /low-cost sector, updating the Shop Manager as required
