The Governors of this outstanding, Roman Catholic school are looking to appoint an exceptional, reflective and dynamic classroom practitioner to join our teaching assistant team. The role is to support a child in Year 4 on a 1:1 basis.

The successful person will join our TA team and will have high expectations for drawing out the very best from our children.

They will have successful Teaching Assistant experience, successful whole class cover experience, strong literacy and numeracy ability (a minimum GCSE Level), and the ability to contribute to the maintenance of school’s outstanding educational provision as well as promoting spiritual, moral and cultural development.

Flexibility will be key for the successful person. As this role is Level 3 the successful candidate will be expected to cover classes throughout the school in instances of short term need.

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, caring, energetic and self-motivated with a love of children and the desire to help every individual reach their potential.

• Recent and relevant Teaching Assistant experience
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills, GCSE level
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• High expectations of children’s achievement
• Have excellent phonic knowledge.
