Summary
Nursery Practitioner
Full time, Permanent
Hours: 7:30am – 6:30pm- (3 days)
Salary: £23,287.68 per annum
Location: Sheffield
My client are looking to recruit a hardworking, well qualified, innovative, and committed Nursery Practitioner.
Your Responsibilities are to:
• Step up as a Room Leader when the manager is absent (notice will be given-unless sickness)
• Plan and make sure that you are one term ahead of your own area of development
• Plan and deliver the lessons and activities to the highest standard possible
• Watch and see potential signs of health and safety and safeguarding concerns and report them to the correct person
• Support the children with their own development and their physical care routines
Ideally candidates will have: -
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience working in an early years setting
• First Aid trained
• Recent experience working as a Nursery Practitioner to the UK curriculum
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• A current enhanced DBS certificate
