Summary

Hopetown Darlington opened its doors this summer as the regionandrsquo;s most exciting and newest visitor attraction.andnbsp; This ambitious project extends across a 7.5-acre site and encompasses a wagon themed play park, an immersive time travel experience ride, and even includes a gallery to watch live engineering in action. In addition, visitors can enjoy touring exhibitions, a reimagined state of the art museum and entertaining festivals and events for the whole family.andnbsp;



A spacious cafandeacute; and shop are also part of this incredible site which is steeped in Darlingtonandrsquo;s rail heritage and will offer a family day out like no other.andnbsp; The venue will attract upwards of 300,000 visits annually, of which up to 100,000 are expected to be from outside the region. Hopetown Darlington is seeking inspired and driven individuals who can bring personality, energy and enthusiasm to the team.

The Visitor Experience Supervisor will not only support the duty managers but will lead, motivate and inspire a retail and admissions team. Customer service excellence will be at the top of your agenda, adopting an andlsquo;above and beyondandrsquo; approach to visitors.andnbsp; Leading by example is crucial and a can-do attitude and focussed approach is essential.andnbsp; Your versatile skills will range from training the team and problem solving, to devising rotas, driving ticket and merchandise sales, along with monitoring KPIandrsquo;s and creating outstanding visual merchandise displays.

You will bring high energy, positivity, and a creative flare to this dynamic, front facing role.andnbsp; You will act as an ambassador for Hopetown Darlington delivering exceptional customer service with your team.
