We have several vacancies to join our teams of Driver / Handlers at Meals on Wheels (MOW), Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

You will deliver meals to the homes of service users who have pre ordered meals. Hours are mainly between 10am to 2pm over 7 days a week - the following permanent posts are currently available:

Driver Handlers - 2 posts at MOW Dunfermline - working 2.75 hours every second weekend as required on a 52 week contract.
Driver Handler - 1 post at MOW Kirkcaldy - working 2.75 hours every second weekend as required on a 52 week contract.
You will earn a competitive salary of £22,525.71 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

This work is about providing daily delivery of meals to service users on a specified daily route. Advising line manager regarding client welfare if required along with an understanding of client confidentiality. Completing relevant paperwork and general kitchen duties. Training to achieve an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate will be given. A full driving licence is essential for this post.

Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
