Summary

The Builder will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of construction tasks on-site, including building, repairing, and maintaining structures. This role requires a solid understanding of construction processes, the ability to work from blueprints and plans, and the physical capability to perform manual labor. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction and Building:

Perform a variety of construction tasks, including laying bricks, blocks, and stone, erecting walls, and building foundations.
Work with concrete, timber, and other materials to construct and repair structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the work and the required materials.
Site Preparation and Safety:

Prepare the construction site by setting up temporary structures, clearing debris, and ensuring that the site is safe and ready for building activities.
Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on-site.
Material Management:

Measure, cut, and shape materials to the required dimensions, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of construction materials to and from the site.
Manage and maintain an inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that all items are used efficiently and stored securely.
