Person in Acklington area with autism requires an enabler to support with 9hrs per week. Hours to be arranged flexibly but it’s hoped it will be 3 x 3hrs per week with occasional weekend working but this will be discussed at interview.

MUST LIKE DOGS/HORSES

Driver required and over 25 for access to mobility car
Non smoker
Experience preferred but not essential.


Hours of work: 9hrs per week
Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour


Main Duties:

Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest.

Client enjoys the cinema, shopping and swimming. And is also a member of the National Trust and Alnwick Gardens. She enjoys walking family dog. We are looking for a motivated person to build a relationship with client through consistency and patient approach.

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
