Mental Health Nurse

Night Shifts

24 hours per week

Salary: £24,000

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our client's team and provide high-quality care to their patients. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions and facilitating their rehabilitation.

Qualifications
  • Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and rehabilitation
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in healthcare settings

Responsibilities
  • Assessing and planning nursing care requirements for patients with mental health conditions
  • Administering medication and treatments according to protocols
  • Providing support and education to patients and their families
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and person-centered care
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of therapeutic activities and programs
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Supporting and advocating for patients to promote their well-being and recovery
