Registered Home Manager - Children's Residential Service

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus

Hours per week: 40 hours

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Home Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care to children and young people. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership and support to care staff, while also developing and implementing individualized care plans. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining positive relationships with residents and external stakeholders, and effectively managing resources.

Qualifications:
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management in Children's and Young People's residential or Level 4 in Leadership and Management
  • Experience working in an OFSTED regulated children's home, with a track record of achieving Good or Outstanding results
  • A minimum of 3 years working in a residential childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices related to children's care
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse individuals and groups
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the workplace and the service provided
  • Valid full UK driving license and business insurance

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the children's service, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents
  • Provide leadership and support to a team of care staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child or young person
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies, promoting the highest levels of care and safeguarding
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage the service's budget, resources, and effective allocation of staff duties
