We have a brilliant opportunity for a weekend Library Advisor to join us!
This is a part-time, permanent role based at Maidenhead Library. You will be required to work on Saturdays and / or Sundays with additional hours available during school, college and university holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic weekend and casual Library Advisor to join our Library team.
The Role:
You will be assisting library customers, shelving books and helping the team with whatever tasks need doing. You may be required to provide cover at any library in the Borough so you must be able to get to all locations if and when required.
Your role will involve:
Delivering excellent customer service to library customers
Dealing with enquiries
Assisting customers with digital support
Undertaking a range of library-related tasks as requested by the senior staff on duty

Someone who loves helping people
A love of books and reading
An understanding of the value of the public library service to communities and individuals
Excellent digital skills and the ability to show people how to use a variety of digital devices
