Our Graduates into Teaching Pathway offers you a unique opportunity to gain several months of paid experience as a Teaching Assistant in schools.

You'll collaborate with partner schools in Sunderland and the surrounding areas, receiving training both before starting and throughout your role.

This experience allows you to observe excellent teaching practices and explore the reality of working as a Teacher, all while earning a salary.
- Paid Experience: Gain at least 3 months to one year of paid experience as a Teaching Assistant in schools.
- Continuous Training: Receive ongoing free training and support, including an accredited level 2 qualification.

- As a Graduate Teaching Assistant on our Graduates into Teaching Pathway, you'll support pupils in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Positions range from short-term to long-term in our partner Secondary, SEN, and Primary schools.
- Our team will mentor and coach you to develop your skills, and we'll match you with schools near your location for placement.
- Hold a degree in any subject.
- Hold or be predicted a degree with a 2.2 or above.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade 4 or C).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Organised and efficient.
- Passion for working with young people and an interest in Secondary school education.
- Provide contact details for two referees.
- Obtain a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one.
