Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, highly motivated and passionate individual with expert Critical Care nursing skills to become part of the Education Team in Critical Care based at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, working in partnership with our Trust colleagues at Peterborough City Hospital with cross site work.
Hinchingbrooke Critical Care Unit is a 10 bedded unit, funded to a dependency of 5, and supports a hospital campus with 250 plus beds. There are plans to rebuild and expand the Hinchingbrooke Hospital site over the next few years, and this will be an exciting phase in the development of the Critical Care Unit.

The post holder will be required to educate and develop a team of staff, and role model the development of compassionate nursing skills promoting patient safety within the unit, ensuring the team is dedicated to delivering excellent care. The post holder needs to demonstrate the Trust's values and promote team working within the Unit and cross site with the wider organisation.
The role will consist of educator days.
Opportunities exists to develop educational, managerial and leadership skills, with support of the Lead Nurse and Matron, and the wider resources available at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
