Summary
We are currently looking for new members of staff to join our friendly paint mixing/trade counter sales team.
Hours: part time/full time available Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Mixing paint by hand or using machinery
• Routine machine maintenance, refilling colours and cleaning colour jets
• Manage customer orders in a timely fashion
• Keep working area clean and tidy
• Trade Counter cover, serving customers in a friendly manner offering advice when required (Training will be provided)
• Answer phone calls, receiving orders and offering advice when required (Training will be provided)
• Checking and Packing orders
• Manual lifting of paint cans and boxes of paint
• Participating in stock takes and ensuring stock levels are correct
• The candidate should be flexible, willing to learn and help in all parts of the business. Good basic computer skills are essential
As we are Specialist Company training will be provided in all aspects of the business, however, previous experience in the automotive trade would be an advantage.
As we are not on a good bus route driving would be required. A full clean driving licence would be an advantage.
Job Type: Temporary to permanent available for the right candidate
Pay: £11.44 per hour to start
Expected hours: 20 to 40 per week
