DEPUTY HOME MANAGER – Residential Care
Full time – permanent (40 hours per week)
Salary – Up to £40,000 plus benefits
This is an opportunity to be part of the management team at our Talbot View home in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Talbot View residential & dementia care home has 59 rooms proving all our residents with support to help maintain their lifestyle and independence.
To be considered for the position you will need to step out from the crowd – you’ll need to be passionate about offering high levels of care and want to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
This role may ideally suit a strong Care Team Leader looking for career progression or a current Deputy Manager looking for a larger home.
Our Deputy Home Managers have specific responsibility in assisting the Home Manager in the management of the home which includes maintaining high standards of care practice in line with the Company's aims and objectives.
In the absence of the Home Manager, you’ll be responsibility for the overall management of the home and its team. A commitment to continuous improvement is required to ensure services enhance quality of life for people receiving care and support from us.
In addition, you will also:
- Support the management team in creating a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Undertake assessments of prospective residents.
- Recruitment and onboarding of your team.
- Provide clarity and direction, supervision and support in managing individuals.
