Summary

SEN Teaching Assistant (Emotional and Behavioural Support)


We are a supportive and inclusive school dedicated to assisting students with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), currently seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support for students facing these challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Offer one-on-one and small group support to students with emotional and behavioural needs.
- Implement behaviour management strategies aligned with individual education plans.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and the SENCo to foster a positive and structured learning environment.
- Assist students in developing essential social and emotional skills.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with staff, parents, and external professionals.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working with students with EBD in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and emotional support strategies.
- Relevant qualifications in SEN support or behavioural management.
- Demonstrated patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
