Job purpose: To work alongside the Concourse Manager to prepare and cook food for the Matchday Kiosks.

Role Competencies:

Planning Timescales:
• To prepare and cook food for football crowds on Matchdays.
• To maintain a clean and safe working environment, during and after use.

Decision Making:
• Work within a clear set of guidelines as given by the Concourse Manager
• Apply things learned on the job and experience to support decision making.

Impact and Influence:
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Provide and ensure the team deliver good customer service to visitors of the Stadium.

Skill Level:
• To comply with health and safety legislation
• Comply with allergen policy as implemented by the Concourse Manager.
• To ensure that all food production is to the standard as set out and presented to specification guidelines.
• To ensure all legal legislation requirements are fulfilled including health and safety, food safety and company policies
• Ensure that foods are prepared, stored and cooked in line with HACCP regulations.

Communication:
• Good level of customer service skills
• Good spoken and written communication

Budget Management:
• Understand own accountability and how own actions effect costs within the business
• To work within budgeted guidelines including waste management, portion control, updating production sheets

Lead and Develop:
• To support colleagues where required.
• To ensure kitchens and equipment are cleaned to standard set by Concourse manager.

Operating Parameters:
• Close down kitchens at the end of shifts to a high standard
• Ensure all stock is rotated in line with Food Policy
• Any reasonable management request

Essential and Desirable Job Criteria:
Essential
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible around working days and hours, including weekends and occasional nights.
• Basic Understanding of COSHH
• Level 2 in food safety

Desirable
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Evidence of working to deadlines.
• Work on own initiative
