About the Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in Pershore. The ideal candidate should possess engineering qualifications or have mechanical assembly experience. However, we welcome candidates who are willing to learn, as training will be provided for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, conceptualize, and create new products.
Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new machines.
Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations.
Conduct engineering calculations to support design work.
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with clients and contractors.
Maintain detailed documentation to track project development and design processes.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Daily tasks will vary, focusing on manufacturing bespoke machinery tailored to customer requirements.

Experience Required:

Previous mechanical engineering experience preferred.
A mechanically minded individual.
Interest in continuous training and on-the-job learning opportunities.
Ownership mentality toward the company and customers.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant engineering experience.
Strong grasp of engineering concepts and experience in designing mechanical systems and products.
Excellent mathematical skills, capable of applying advanced mathematical principles and statistics to problem-solving.
You will be using a CAD viewer to build machines from
Exceptional technical, problem-solving, and reasoning abilities.
Effective and clear communication skills.
Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented approach.
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday: 8 AM to 1:30 PM
38-hours workweek.
Salary:

Starting from £22,500 to £34,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Christmas shutdown.
20 days of holidays plus bank holidays.
