Purpose Of Role:

We are now recruiting for a Senior Project Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Projects, to be based either in the Sunderland or Adlington office.

The Senior Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle and is responsible for delivering the scope (in line with the client contract) as per the agreed budget and schedule, whilst ensuring the target margin is realised.

They are a key figure within the business; driving progress across a number of different departments to ensure our projects are executed in line with our company policies, processes and objectives

Alongside delivering projects, they will also have line management responsibility for other Project Managers in the team and support the Head of Projects with any areas of development/continuous improvement.

What a great candidate looks like:

  • HND in a technical or engineering discipline
  • Formal project management qualification
  • Demonstratable experience with projects within a construction environment.
  • Project controls experience, including planning, monitoring and reviewing of both schedules and cost.
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Heavy industry background
  • Good understanding of commercials
