Summary

Are you interested in developing digital learning resources for doctoral students?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Digital Education Developer to join the White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership (WRDTP) team, in order to significantly enhance our advanced research methods and employability training offer for doctoral research students in the social sciences.

We are looking for someone with experience of creating digital learning resources, excellent coordination and communication skills and an enthusiasm to work collaboratively. Specifically, you will lead the design, delivery, evaluation and refinement of a suite of digital learning resources. You will also coordinate the production of student case studies to highlight the experiences and career journeys of WRDTP-funded students. You will manage budgets and commission inputs from others to support the delivery of agreed outputs.

The White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership is an established partnership of 7 universities who work together to award funding and deliver training for PhD students in social sciences disciplines. We support PhD students to develop the interdisciplinary knowledge and methodological expertise to address complex world problems and, in doing so, seek to prepare them for a range of future careers.

You will be based at the University of Sheffield, where you will work closely with other members of our core team. You will also work with academic and professional services colleagues across our 7 partner universities. If you are passionate about working with others to create high quality, engaging learning resources we want to hear from you.

We are committed to exploring flexible working opportunities which benefit the individual and University.

We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
