Summary
Early Years Support Worker Position
Part Time
Term-Time
Salary: £12.96 per hour plus 5.8 weeks holiday pay.
Hours: 25 per week 09.30 – 14.30 Monday – Friday during Renfrewshire Council school term.
An Early Years Support worker is required for a community nursery. The successful applicant will work as part of a small team to support with the provision of high-quality early learning and childcare for children attending the nursery.
You will be required to work alongside the staff team to support them in their duties, including with the personal care of children and supporting with the lunch provision.
It is essential that you meet with the requirements of the Scottish Social Services Council for registration as a support worker with a minimum of a SCQF Level 6 qualification in an appropriate discipline or are prepared to work towards this. It is desirable that you have experience of working with children from 3 to 5 years.
The post is regulated work with children and the successful candidates will be required to complete a PVG scheme record application, or update, through disclosure Scotland, and register as a Support Worker with the SSSC.
