Summary
As an apprentice at Wiggles and Giggles Nursery, you will learn all areas of a childcare environment and gain your qualification along the way. You must love being around children and be committed to help in the running of our setting, joining in with a range of activities and outings as well as helping with mealtimes, nappy changing, writing observations, planning and daily diaries.

Children's care
Adhering to safeguarding policies
Adhering to Health and Safety Policies
Completing training
Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Wiggles and Giggles Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes;
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
Functional skills in Maths and English if requiredThis will be delivered through Wiggles and Giggles Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.

No experience required but some experience of working with children would b e preferable

Qualification / Standard : ST0888 Early years practitioner
Duration 15 month
