Requirements

You will have 3 National 5's to include English and Maths.

Responsibilities

You will provide an efficient and effective administrative, clerical, financial and support service for the school, including workload distribution, reception, word processing/information processing; making full use of appropriate computer systems and software.

As part of the Corporate Business Support Service, you will work with Business Support and Development Officer and Administrative colleagues to improve process and practices, to achieve efficiencies.

The Individual

You will have experience of working in a modern office, word processing, record keeping and general admin and clerical duties.

The ability to handle cash and maintain financial records as well as good communication skills, both written and oral are essential.

You will be willing to undertake additional training and train other staff.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
