Summary

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an MEP Estimator based in Central London.


Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Develop detailed and accurate cost plans and estimates for various construction activities (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing).
Project Optimisation: Provide critical insights to support project development, identify cost-effective solutions, and promote continuous improvement. This includes conducting cost-benefit analyses, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and supporting senior management strategies to optimise project outcomes.
Bid Analysis: Competitively assess and benchmark bids, present findings to project teams, and contribute to informed decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in cost planning and estimating within the Mechanical & Electrical industry.
  • Deep understanding of construction techniques, materials, and their associated costs.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency in using relevant cost planning and estimating software.


Desirable:

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


Interview Process:

Only two stages: the first interview via Teams and a final interview face-to-face.
