Summary


Job Title: Autism Support Worker

Location: Dundee

£15 per hour

About Us: My client is a leading provider of support services for individuals with a variety of needs. They are dedicated to delivering person-centred care and support that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients. You will be working in a 2:1 service assisting service users wit Autism and learning difficulties. Previous experience in the area of work is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

* Assisting a service user with Autism with day to day activities and requirement
* Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans
* Providing hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
* Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
* Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
* Monitoring and reporting on the progress and well-being of clients
* Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision

Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
