Summary

Job Purpose

Contribute to the effective delivery of Cleaner Communities operational and administration support function, in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

JOB DETAILS

This is a full time temporary post for 2 years and the admin base is Southhook Waste Transfer Station, Southook Road, Kilmarnock, KA1 2NN

The hours of work are 37 per week to be worked as follows;
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break daily.

The salary is £24,435 - £25,512

The workstyle for this post is ‘Fixed’ - 80-100% of your time at a single office base or work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 4 and 5 days per week.

It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
