You will be working with the hard working teams based in Vauxhall, Ellesmere Port. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Janitor / Cleaner to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong work ethic. As a Janitor / Cleaner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our facilities are kept in top condition for our employees and visitors.
Shift Pattern: rotational Days 0700 - 1500 and Afternoons 1500 - 2315
Pay: £12.15 per hour basic with added 11% shift allowance, total of £13.49 per hour.
Overtime - Saturday time and half, Sunday double time.
Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of production and office areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Maintaining washrooms by ensuring they are clean and well-stocked with required products
- Restocking cleaning and office supplies as needed
- Following all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Being flexible to work on a rotational shift pattern
- Participating in regular deep cleaning tasks as assigned
- Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate department
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and products
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping a clean and organised workspace
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Flexibility to work on a rotational shift pattern, including weekends and holidays
