Key Purpose of the role:

To advise and support operations managers on both low level and complex employee relations issues including; probation, performance management, capability, conduct, conflict management, data subject access requests, investigations, disciplinary & grievance, whistleblowing and safeguarding matters. Work closely with the People team to ensure a cohesive approach to HR management. Ensuring company policies are up-to-date and compliant with employment law.

Essential Criteria:

Experience of case management including disciplinary and grievance investigations, performance management, long and short-term absence management, capability and compliance investigations.

You should also have a good level of learning agility to be able to understand the relevant legislative/ commercial risk and cultural context of the areas you are working with.

Proven ability to become a trusted Employee Relations Advisor including the ability to push back, challenge and present alternative viewpoints. You will also be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal skills to help non specialists understand all process, procedure and advice given.

Proactive approach to work, with a strong sense of drive, ownership and demonstrated ability to use initiative.

Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and can demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities.
