Crynodeb
Reporting to the Deputy Director of MedTech Innovation, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating MedTech innovation solutions that have the potential to transform our industry, and for overseeing the development and implementation of these solutions. Core to this will be leading the development and delivery of a new Integrated Rules-Based MedTech Pathway that aims to scale, at pace, selected categories of MedTech innovation that have the greatest potential to improve healthcare and support NHS priorities. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting managers and staff, in delivering an effective MedTech (including Digital) Innovation portfolio that aligns with IRLSSs overall goals and objectives. They will own relationships with key stakeholders including, but not limited to: NHSE regional, policy and programmes teams, trusts, ICSs, patient and user groups, MHRA, NICE, NHS Supply Chain, DHSC, OLS, HINs, technology vendors and industry associations. They are expected to contribute to promoting a positive team culture and working environment.
