Contract: 18-month fixed-term contract
Role Overview:
I am looking for a Health & Safety Advisor, who has experience on a live construction site operating as the Health & Safety Advisor.
As the Safety, Health & Environment Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, delivery, and review of a variety of complex projects across all areas of the construction and maintenance industry.
Key tasks:
- Assist with the development, auditing and improvements
- Advise, assist and support in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental to ensure all requirements are addressed across all departments
- Create and deliver internal workshops and toolbox talks to increase knowledge and promotion of essential HSE information
- Liaise, negotiate and influence with relevant partners both internally and externally
- Prepare reports and analysis from Safety and Environmental information and statistics
- Provide appropriate and accurate information in a timely manner to the Senior Manager
- You will report directly to the Senior Manager
Role Requirements
- At least 2 years within a site-based H&S role within construction
- An effective communicator at all levels with client-facing experience
- A technically aware team player with experience providing health and safety support in the construction industry
- IT literate
