Summary

We are seeking a Product Manager with a strong focus on UI/UX design to lead the development and optimization of our software products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, product management experience, and a deep understanding of user experience principles. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our software products not only meet functional requirements but also deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap with a strong emphasis on UI/UX. Ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Review and provide feedback on wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Requirement Gathering: Gather and prioritize product and UI/UX requirements through market research, customer feedback, and stakeholder input. Translate these requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product specifications.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams to drive product development from ideation through launch. Ensure that all aspects of the product, including UI/UX, are aligned with the overall vision.
Agile Development: Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
User Testing & Feedback: Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the UI/UX of the product. Make data-driven decisions to enhance the user experience.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance, particularly regarding user engagement and satisfaction. Identify and implement opportunities for UI/UX improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries, particularly those related to UI/UX. Present product updates, strategies, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in software development and UI/UX design.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management, with a strong background in software development and UI/UX design.
UI/UX Expertise: Proven experience in UI/UX design or working closely with design teams. Ability to critique and enhance design decisions to ensure a seamless user experience.
Technical Skills: Understanding of software development processes, tools, and methodologies, including agile frameworks. Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to making product decisions. Experience with A/B testing, user testing, and performance analysis.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and marketing professionals.
Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Customer Focus: A deep understanding of user needs and the ability to translate them into compelling product features.
