Summary
Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join our clients manufacturing site in the Treforest / Nantgarw area.
This role would be well suited to a recent graduate looking to gain Laboratory experience.
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
Hours of work:
Monday - Wednesday 08:00am - 16:00pm. 3 day working week, working days can be negotiable Monday - Friday if required.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Undertaking internal audits & maintaining accurate documentation
- Preparing and testing of samples.
- Carrying out weighing, testing and other lab duties
- QC/data collection & production and maintenance of record sheets.
- Enter details onto custom database software
- Assist lab analysts with preparation of samples
The desired candidate will have:
- IT / computer literacy skills.
- Previously experience working within a Laboratory / Science setting.
- Be immediately available to start a new role.
