About the Role:
As a Digital Operations Executive, you will become the in-house expert on our digital platforms, ensuring they are well-managed, optimised, and deliver an exceptional user experience. This role involves working closely with Publishing and Marketing teams to align digital content with user-centred design principles and data-driven improvements. You will manage content using our CMS, optimise SEO, and support continuous enhancements based on user feedback and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage and optimise Hamilton Brookes digital platforms to ensure correct content display and functionality
● Use CMS platforms to build, edit, and publish content, employing templates and style guides to streamline processes
● Act as the in-house super-user and trouble-shooter for digital systems, reducing reliance on external support
● Collaborate with Publishing and Marketing teams to ensure content meets business needs and user-centred design standards
● Use analytics, user feedback, and research to map user journeys, inform the digital roadmap, and propose website improvements
● Optimise SEO with up-to-date tagging using tools like Semrush and Google Analytics
● Manage a roadmap of improvements, prioritise fixes, and support continuous digital platform enhancements
● Liaise with web service providers, share knowledge, and support the internal team
● Conduct monthly business reports and manage subscriber tracking
● Address customer inquiries to ensure a seamless digital experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Degree level or equivalent experience
● Significant experience in a digital role with a strong understanding of digital content publishing processes
● Proficiency in CMS platforms, such as WordPress
● High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
● Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, user-centred approach.
Interviews to take place week beginning the 16th September 2024.
This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system, however, applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
