Summary
Focused Recruiting are currently seeking a Material Handler/Fork Lift Driver to join our clients manufacturing site within the Blackwood area.
Our client a leading manufacturing company who are very much regarded as an employer of choice within the local area are looking for someone to start immediately.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm. Days Regular.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Driving the Counterbalance & Bendi Fork Lift Truck within the warehouse & manufacturing areas
- General goods in/goods out & stores duties
- Allocating the correct materials to the production areas ensuring they are well stocked
- Use a handheld scanner to book product and materials in.
- Completing all relevant paperwork ensuring full audit trail
- Packing of finished product and ensuring correct batch codes/labels are issued
- Input inventory and parts data into the internal booking system via PC
- Ensure warehouse/stores areas are maintained to a clean & tidy standard
- General Inventory control of materials and finished product
Desired skills / attributes:
- Previous experience within a similar despatch / warehouse/material handler role.
- Candidates would need an external Counterbalance & Bendi FLT Licence
- Able to work within a fast paced working environment
- Experience with using SAP and handheld scanning equipment
