Post Title: Community Children's Worker (HOST)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Maternity Cover until April 2025
Salary: £30,707 - £34,208 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Under the direction of the Team Manager, to provide planned and staged support services to children, young people and their families:
- In Interventions where needs are increasing in complexity and families require support to remain together.
- In Targeted Services where complexity of needs requires additional measures to sustain appropriate care and prevent young people from being accommodated.
- To help maintain children in placements and to support in transitions.
- Ideally we are looking for a candidate that has experience in working with children and young people with complex disability.

Requirements
Experience working with children and families.
Experience of planning strategies to support children and young people with challenging behaviour.
Requirement of HNC SVQ3 in Social Care or the ability and willingness to undertake appropriate training.
